The low voltage powered model is designed for Electrostatic experiments, Fitted on base with smooth running DC Motor, operates on 220 volts A.C. 50 Hz. Power input is via a pair of color coded 4 mm sockets. Mains operated versions are provided with 1.5 meters of 3 core mains cable. The earth core of the mains leads being connected to the metal structure of the apparatus. Both voltage & mains versions also have independent 4 mm earth sockets with spherical discharger of 75 mm dia with insulated handle.

Hand operated, mounted on base. For the generation of electric charge, useful in electrostatics and for studying various phenomena associated with electric charge. Comprises a near spherical dome supported on top of an insulated, clear Perspex pillar on the base. A removable flat rubber belt rotates through rollers mounted at both the ends of Perspex pillar. Lower roller shaft has a pulley driven by a hand operated crank through rubber belt. Supplied with a discharging sphere 100 mm dia.

Stainless steel pan of 150 mm dia.with three notched weighing beams with Centre indicating sliding masses, giving a total weighing capacity of 610g. Additional supplementary masses are available to hang on the end of the beam increasing the capacity up to 2610g.Beams: 0-500g x 100g, 0-100g x 10g, 0-10g x 0.1g, inclusive of masses.
