Liebig Condensers, manufactured from borosilicate glass, are laboratory glassware designed for cooling vapours and converting them into liquid during distillation and other suitable laboratory processes. The condenser features an inner vapour tube surrounded by an outer water-cooling jacket, allowing circulating coolant to remove heat from the vapour. Available in multiple lengths and ground-glass joint configurations, Liebig condensers are suitable for educational, research, and routine laboratory applications.

SterLab™ Liebig Condensers are manufactured from borosilicate glass and designed for efficient vapour condensation in laboratory distillation and other compatible chemical processes.
The condenser consists of an inner tube for vapour passage surrounded by an outer jacket through which cooling water circulates. As vapour passes through the inner tube, heat is transferred to the cooling medium, helping convert the vapour into liquid for collection. The coolant typically enters through the lower jacket connection and exits through the upper connection to maintain an effective cooling arrangement.
The range includes multiple condenser lengths and ground-glass joint sizes, allowing compatibility with corresponding laboratory apparatus. Models are available with both socket and cone joints, while selected variants are supplied with a cone joint only, as specified in the model table.
These Liebig condensers are suitable for distillation, solvent recovery, and other laboratory procedures requiring water-cooled condensation, provided the selected condenser is compatible with the process conditions.
