Gooch Crucible with Sintered Disc – Borosilicate Glass is designed for laboratory filtration procedures involving the separation and collection of solid precipitates from liquids. The crucible incorporates a sintered glass disc that serves as the filtering medium, allowing liquid to pass through while retaining particles according to the selected porosity grade.

The available disc porosity grades—G-1, G-2, G-3, and G-4—provide different filtration characteristics for different particle sizes and laboratory requirements. The appropriate porosity should be selected according to the sample and the filtration procedure.

Manufactured from borosilicate glass, these crucibles offer good chemical resistance when used with compatible substances and under suitable operating conditions. They are suitable for analytical chemistry, gravimetric analysis, and other laboratory filtration applications.

The SMC-4016 series is available in capacities of 15 ML, 30 ML, and 50 ML. The required sintered disc porosity should be specified when ordering.
