    Description

    Dropping Funnels, Cylindrical, with Socket, Glass or Rotaflow Stopcock and Stem with Cone, without Stopper – Borosilicate Glass are designed for introducing liquids and reagents gradually into a reaction vessel or laboratory assembly. They are particularly useful in chemical reactions where the rate of liquid addition needs to be controlled.

    The cylindrical body provides capacity for holding the liquid to be added. The stopcock allows the operator to regulate or stop the flow through the lower stem, while the conical joint at the stem end enables connection to compatible laboratory glassware.

    The upper socket joint allows the funnel to be fitted to matching laboratory apparatus. Depending on the model, the stopcock may be of glass or Rotaflow type. These funnels are supplied without a stopper, allowing the appropriate compatible stopper to be selected separately if required.

    Manufactured from borosilicate glass, these funnels offer good thermal and chemical resistance when used with compatible laboratory chemicals and under suitable operating conditions.
