    Dean and Stark Apparatus for Moisture Determination – Borosilicate Glass is designed for determining the water content of suitable samples through a distillation-based moisture determination method. The apparatus is commonly used with an appropriate solvent that carries water vapour during distillation, allowing the condensed water to separate and collect in a graduated receiver.

    The assembly typically comprises a graduated moisture receiver without a stopcock and a round-bottom (R.B.) flask for holding the sample and solvent.
